Get to know Word.Haus Founder, Tessa Carranza-Hawthorn.

I’m a Lawyer, Podcaster, Writer and Brand Strategist who doesn’t believe in square pegs or round holes. My guiding philosophy is that with a pinch of creativity, everything is available to us.

We just need to seek, source and get moving.

Like so many of us, I dove into a university degree that led me away from my passion for words and into a vocation that was never my true calling. My time as In-House Counsel at LocalAgentFinder led me to help scale Australia's first start-up studio, Luna, as Head of Legal & Ops. I then became an advisor to TedXMelbourne and ultimately, an entrepreneur in my own right.

After 10 years as a litigator, tech lawyer and startup advisor, I decided to craft a business that houses all the ways my love of words are made manifest. That business is Word.Haus.

I live and work between Mexico City and Sydney where I primarily serve clients in the Americas and Australia, while nurturing my growing family.
